Lindsay Drug Company
416 5th Avenue, Troy
235.2522; www.lindsaydrug.com

Caregivers of ailing loved ones have a lot of responsibility.  The Lindsay Drug Co. can help you manage your tasks and stay organized.  A Medication Management program is available to review medications and how they should be taken.  A pharmacist will go over your meds and look for negative interactions, dosage problems or anything that just doesn’t look right.  She can help you organize your pills to make them easier to take.
Many patients have a hard time managing the number of pills with different times to take them.  Sometimes it gets to the point of not even remembering if you took your dose at the correct time.  Lindsay Drug has a variety of pill organizers.  They can be arranged for Day/Night, AM/PM, weekly or monthly depending on your needs.  The patient or caregiver can quickly look at the organizer to see if the meds have been taken.  There will be fewer missed doses and no chance of overdosing.

Lindsay Drug can make sure you don’t run out of your medications by using the refill reminder service.  This service calls you one week before your refill is due to ask if you want your prescription filled.  Delivery can be set up for you at this time if needed.

Lindsay’s has Aides to Daily Living available that can help you with ordinary daily tasks.  There are reachers for picking up objects, elastic shoe laces and long shoe horns to help with your shoes, easy grip utensils and plates and many other things to keep you independent.  Let’s face it; the more independent a person can be the happier he will be.  This could mean less stress on a caregiver.
