Dr. Sara C. Scheid has practiced otolaryngology in the Albany, NY, area since 2004. Dr. Sara Scheid is a Diplomate of the American Board of Otolaryngology, a Diplomate of the American Board of Sleep Medicine and a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. Dr. Scheid also proudly serves on the board of Ronald McDonald House Charities of the Capital Region, Inc.
After graduating from Dartmouth College, Dr. Scheid studied medicine at Rush Medical College in Chicago. She then completed residency in Otolaryngology at Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia, PA, where she gained extensive expertise in all areas of head and neck surgery, including the medical and surgical management of sinusitis, voice disorders, pediatric disorders, head and neck cancer and thyroid disease. During her residency training, she had the opportunity to study with world-renowned surgeon Dr. Robert Sataloff at the American Institute for Voice & Ear Research where she published numerous articles pertaining to voice disorders. Dr. Scheid is a member of the Voice Foundation and has worked with all types of voice professionals from opera singers to lawyers and teachers.
After completing residency, and before coming to New York’s Capital Region, Dr Scheid completed a fellowship in Pediatric Otolaryngology at St. Christopher’s Hospital for Children in Philadelphia and was a faculty member at Drexel Medical College.

In the last five years Dr. Scheid has developed an increasing interest in Sleep Medicine and became board certified in 2011. She is a leading expert in the area in pediatric sleep medicine.

He has authored dozens of chapters, posters and presentations. In 2006, Dr. Foyt founded the Children’s Hearing Foundation (CHF), a not-for-profit organization which donates cochlear implants to children who need them. This month, he will be traveling to Kathmandu, Nepal on a medical mission along with one of his residents from the Albany Medical Center to provide direct medical and surgical care to disadvantaged Nepalese.

Dr. Jay Rugoff, DC
Dr. Jay Rugoff has been serving the Albany, NY community for over 20 years. He is known for his innovative treatments, particularly with neuropathy, restless leg syndrome and painful spinal conditions associated with pregnancy.
