The Furniture House
1254 Route 9P, Saratoga
1060 Route 9, Queensbury
The Furniture House is about to celebrate its 35th year in business on Saratoga Lake.  Our history of offering top quality and unique home furnishings has made this family owned business a leader in the industry, in a time when many are not so lucky.  For us, luck has little to do with it.  Hard work, knowing our customer and setting ourselves apart has been the key.
We carry quality home furnishings not offered by other stores.  Where those “chain stores” peak is where we begin.  We offer better goods, quality American-Made and over-the-top furniture.  Our ability to customize unique and multi-functional pieces is what makes us special.  Add our unbeatable discount pricing, and our customers walk away with a tremendous value.
We pride ourselves on giving our customers excellent customer service.  Our professional design staff can assist with a variety of services from simple advice to complete in-home consultations and layout/planning assistance.  When you are ready, our delivery staff will handle all furniture assembly, placement and installation.  We deliver virtually anywhere in the United States.  Just ask!
Our success has allowed us to outgrow the Saratoga location.  Join us in celebrating the Grand Opening of our second location at Sutton’s Marketplace in Queensbury, on July 18 and 19. We have completely remodeled the store and can’t wait to show it off.  During this special event, we are having store wide savings on special orders and in stock items.  Now is a great time to discover The Furniture House at this monster furniture sale and celebration!  We truly appreciate your business.

Kinderhook Bank
782 Troy-Schenectady Road, Latham
After officially breaking ground in June 2014, the new Latham branch of Kinderhook Bank opened on April 13, 2015!
The unique location at 782 Troy-Schenectady Road gives the bank a definite advantage.  Because the building sits just between NYS Troop G Headquarters and the NYSUT building, slightly forward toward Route 7, it gives passersby an unimpeded view of the striking bank building. Designed by local architect Al Guerra, the branch has clean modern lines with a warm exterior and was professionally decorated by Amy Pressman Design Studio.  Bold colors and sleek materials were used to give a professional, yet warm and inviting, interior. Dave Canfield of Wainschaf Associates, Inc. acted as general contractor for the completion of the branch and used many local businesses to build and finish the bank building.
As a full service branch, there is a staff of four including Jeff Eckert, VP & Branch Manager.  A two-lane drive-thru, night deposit and two ATMs provide convenience and access for customers. The second floor of the building has a commercial loan center headed up by Senior Vice President Lee Carman.
Stop by, have some free coffee and cookies, take a tour, and check it out! A Family Fun Day will take place at the branch on Saturday, July 11th from 10am-1pm with BBQ, music, kids’ activities and fun.
