It’s a curly world out there and summer has arrived here in the Capital Region. I remember sitting at the kitchen table as a teenager with a ski hat on to flatten my unruly head of curls. If it was raining, snowing or just a humid day, it was evident my hair was not going to cooperate. It was never the same from day to day; my bangs and I would always dual. Finally, after years of trying everything under the sun, there is now a curly hair care line of products, free of chemicals, parables and harsh detergents and they’re sulfate-free.
The Deva products are essentially magic products with wonderful essential oils and moisturizers. Cleanse, Hydrate, Define – that’s the Deva 3-Step program to control your curls. No matter your curl type: s’wavy, wavy, botticelli or corkscrew, the Deva 3-Step will reveal naturally gorgeous, frizz-free curls. No more worries for events or weddings; the trauma is over. I invite you into my salons to book a one-hour appointment with a certified Deva stylist and I promise you it will change your life.
Christopher Brian Salon
192 Remsen Street, Cohoes
Coming up on its two year anniversary, Christopher Brian Salon continues to bring the best in hairdressing to the Capital District. The salon was recently awarded the 2013 Small Business of Excellence Award from the Albany Colonie Regional Chamber and was a finalist for Best Women’s Hair Salon in CRL Magazine.
Continued education is a key part of Christopher Brian Salon’s mission. Hairdressers Nicole Chiplock and Alan La Noue will be traveling to the prestigious Bumble and Bumble University in Manhattan where they will work closely with top stylists on live models in the heart of the Meatpacking District.
Owner Christopher Feml has once again been invited to work backstage at New York Fashion Week with Bumble and Bumble this September. Up close and personal with top models, top stylists and designers, this experience has forever changed Christopher’s outlook on the craft of hairdressing. The invitation comes as Bumble brings back top performers from previous Fashion Weeks.
The salon will also be bringing educators in from Framesi North America for color training over the summer. Building on previous classes, this will give the staff the ability to closely work with color educators on very technical color services and corrections.
Located in the heart of historic Cohoes, Christopher Brian Salon welcomes you to experience our unique approach to the craft of hairdressing.
